For me, painting has always been about expression and lately, my favourite canvas has been something a little unconventional: PlayStation 5 console covers. What started as a passion project has turned into hours of carefully crafted artwork, transforming ordinary consoles into one-of-a-kind pieces of gaming art.
The Process
Each custom-painted PS5 cover takes me anywhere from 8–10 hours to complete. It’s not just about painting it’s about making sure the artwork looks as good as possible and lasts for years to come.
Here’s how I do it:
1. Prep Work – I start by sanding the covers back and applying a smooth coat of primer. This creates the perfect surface for paint to stick to.
2. Artwork – Most of the detail is done with Posca paint markers and an airbrush, giving me control over fine lines, bold colors, and smooth gradients.
3. Finishing Touch – Once the artwork is complete, I seal it with a matte clear coat to protect it from scratches and wear.
The result? A console cover that’s not just functional, but also a piece of collectible art.
Some of My Favorite Projects
I’ve been lucky enough to work on some fun designs so far, each with its own story:

• 🎮 Grand Theft Auto VI Covers – Inspired by one of the most anticipated games of all time, I was really looking forward to seeing the art to this game. i love the purple pink retro colours of the artwork we have seen so far. I hope when the game come's out we get the traditional grid like cover art so i can paint some more in the GTA6 Style.

• 🎵 Korn “Follow the Leader” Album Covers – These were extra special. I auctioned them off and donated $2,200 to the Royal Children’s Hospital. A hospital that has helped my friends kids in the past and also my own daughter. I couldn't think of donating to a better cause

• 🎤 Blink-182 Covers – One of the coolest moments so far: Mark Hoppus himself now owns a custom Blink-182 PlayStation 5 cover I painted, and he’s even taking it on tour with him! These cover's took me the longest to paint. Around 10 Hours. But i really loved the artwork to the live album 'The Mark Tom and Travis Show. Making some slight changes to make it that bit more unique!

• 🕹️ Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Covers – Just wrapped these up, bringing a fan-favorite classic back to life in paint. Personally one of my favourite games of all time. Everything from the Music to the missions is perfection!
• 🛹 Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Covers – My current project in progress, paying tribute to the skateboarding game that defined a generation. Another one of my favourite franchises. Also working with Activision to help promote the game it will always hold a special place in my heart!
Plenty more ideas of amazing games and album covers i would love to do next! from Vice City, Limp Bizkit, Astro Bot to even some of my favourite 90's cartoons like street sharks, TMNT and even The Simpsons next!
What would you like to see me do next?
